Thistle glad to have a derby

Lothian Thistle are in Image Printers East of Scotland Qualifying Cup action tonight when they welcome Capital rivals Craigroyston to Saughton Enclosure for a 7.30pm kick-off.

Thistle were held to a 1-1 draw on Saturday at home against Edinburgh City with joint manager Fraser Ogilvie saying: "Our performance against City was horrendous and if I am being honest we should have been on the end of a very heavy defeat. The absolutely positive aspect was that we did take a point from the game."

Ogilvie added: "We are all glad that another game has come around so quickly and it has the potential to be a cracking contest. We are both very young sides and therefore it will be fast. Craigroyston like to get the ball down, just like us, which will ensure a real football match."
