Third division round up: Free-scoring Arbroath enjoy pieces of eight in Borough Briggs goal fest

Albion Rovers 2, Berwick Rangers 2

Paul Currie struck a late leveller for Berwick at Cliftonhill. Paul McLeod fired Albion Rovers in front just before the half hour mark, but the lead was short-lived as Kevin Gordon levelled for the Wee Gers after 32 minutes. Ian Smith restored Rovers' lead after 79 minutes before Currie levelled five minutes from the end.

Annan Athletic 3, East Stirlingshire 1

Annan coasted to a comfortable victory thanks to an impressive first-half display that saw them score three goals in the space of four minutes. Goals from Mike Jack, Jordan Halsmann and Steven Sloan saw Annan take control of the match. Craig Summersgill's own goal was the only consolation for Shire.

Honours were even in an entertaining match at Broadwood. A double from Mark McCusker saw the Bully Wee take control inside the opening half-hour. But Craig Malcolm reduced the deficit before the interval and Sean Winter netted just after the hour mark to salvage a point for Stranraer.

Elgin City 3, Arbroath 5

Keith Gibson gave Arbroath a deserved half-time lead before Paul Miller levelled for City. David McGowan struck back to restore Arbroath's lead before Gibson netted his second to make it 3-1. A double from Arbroath's Josh Falkingham sandwiched goals from Miller and Paul Cameron as Elgin battled back.

Montrose 1, Queen's Park 2

Martin McBride scored an injury-time penalty to seal a dramatic late win for the Spiders at Links Park. Craig Smith fired Queen's Park in front after 12 minutes before Aaron Sinclair levelled for Montrose. But McBride's late penalty won the game for the Hampden outfit with time running out.
