Sean Pierce headed the home side in front in eight minutes, three minutes later Daryl Nicol doubled the lead from the spot before Pierce sealed victory with his second.

Albion Rovers edged this crucial promotion battle with Stranraer.

Stranraer had the better of a tense opening period, but Scott Chaplain grabbed the decisive goal for Rovers in the 58th minute, driving home a Steven Lawless knockdown.
