The Scotsman tips two National wins in a week

BESHABAR'S victory at Ayr made it a National double for The Scotsman seven days after we predicted Ballabriggs' triumph at Aintree.

On Saturday, Beshabar was The Scotsman nap with our preview of the Scottish National saying: "Having finished 1-2-3 in the National Hunt Chase at the Cheltenham Festival, Chicago Grey, Beshabar and Be There In Five quickly renew their rivalry on the biggest stage north of the Border - the Coral Scottish Grand National - and this time it's Tim Vaughan's Beshabar that's fancied to be pick of the bunch."

In the Grand National we picked Ballabriggs as the winner and also had fourth-placed State of Play in our top four.
