The Anorak: Walsall can shock Plymouth at 2-1

WALSALL are today's unlikely banker as they head to the south coast to face Plymouth in a League 1 relegation clash.

The Pilgrims initially responded well to a ten-point deduction, but you sense the fight has petered out as they have lost their past three without scoring. Their opponents have had a dreadful season, but are at least showing chinks of light. A win against Southampton, a 5-2 mauling of Hartlepool and a good point at MK Dons last week all bode well in their survival quest. Walsall are the banker bet at 2-1 with Ladbrokes.

Reading, who top the eight-game form league should not be 11-5 with Chandlers against a Forest side who have lost the plot recently. Blackburn should have won at the Emirates last week and they are worth backing at 11-10 against poor travellers Birmingham. Events conspired against Spurs in the Bernabeu midweek but at 4-5 they can see of Stoke, who may have one eye on the FA Cup semi-final.

Banker: Walsall to beat Plymouth 2-1.
