The Anorak: Dundee taken to continue the fight at 10-11 in Fife

Dundee are rated this week's best bet at 10-11 to beat Cowdenbeath, as they continue to battle what was, in my opinion, a ludicrous 25-point deduction. They took the penalty like men and have, bizarrely, improved since Gordon Chisholm and several players departed last year.

They may have lost Leigh Griffiths to Wolves, but their spirit is unquestionable and they held out with ten men at top-of-the-table Dunfermline a fortnight ago then beat third-place Falkirk last week, so a trip to face the not-so-mighty Blue Brazil should hold no fears as their hosts have lost their past five, conceding 16 and scoring none.

For a Yankee, the three selections worth adding to Dundee are Exeter (2-1 Bet 365) to win at out-of-form Swindon, who are likely to be without main goal threat Charlie Austin as he talks terms with Ipswich; Morton, who hit five past Airdrie United in midweek, at 6-5 to beat Ross County; while Reading can do what Newcastle failed to do and win at Stevenage in the FA Cup at 11-10 Hills.
