Thain in contention as Borthwick bows out
Borthwick has cited work commitments and said that he was always likely to take the job for two campaigns only. He guided the club to the double in his first year and landed the MacTavish Cup this term, despite the team being in transition. Chieftain Joe Taylor said: ”Stephen has done very well. We have until March so hopefully someone will come forward before then.”
A possible contender may be club legend Kevin Thain, who took the team as player/manager several seasons ago.
