Sven-Goran Eriksson lined up for Leicester job

FORMER England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson is close to being named as the new Leicester City manager, according to reports.

The BBC claimed that the 62-year-old Swede is believed to have been offered a two-year deal to take over from Paulo Sousa at the Walkers Stadium. Sousa was sacked on Friday with the struggling Foxes left rooted to the bottom of the Championship after nine games. Eriksson attended Leicester's home match against Scunthorpe yesterday.
