Sunday switch for first derby

The first Edinburgh derby of the 2011-12 season has been pushed back 24 hours to Sunday, August 28, with the unusual kick-off time of 3.45pm.

The Tynecastle fixture will be broadcast live on ESPN and is just one of several forthcoming games involving Hearts or Hibs to be rescheduled by the SPL.

Hibs' trip to Kilmarnock will now be played on Sunday, August 14, with a 12.15pm kick-off, while the Hibees face SPL newcomers Dunfermline Athletic on Saturday, September 17, with a 12.30pm kick-off. Hearts supporters will face a noon trip to McDiarmid Park when they take on St Johnstone on Sunday, September 25, while the Jambos now host Celtic at home seven days later.
