Strollers edge vital win at the Pennypit

Preston had a big appeal for a penalty turned down in the 40th minute, but two minutes later the home side were on level terms when Miller released Greg McColl and the midfielder slotted in from a tight angle.

Midway through the second half Burnside reacted well to tip a McColl shot over the bar, and three minutes later Strollers were back in front after Wilson set up Gary Calvey who fired home from the edge of the area.
