Stirling enjoy their first win of the year

A BRACE from Jason Atkins helped Stirling University to their first win of 2011.

On ten minutes, the centre-half headed home following a free-kick. The home side doubled their lead shortly before the break, Michael Pentland volleying home from 12 yards.

Atkins headed in his second shortly after the break, but Darren Anderson reduced the deficit from eight yards.

However, approaching the final 15 minutes, Liam Corr's wonderful solo effort meant that Steven Radzinsky's header was just a consolation.
