St Johnstone land Morais

ST JOHNSTONE will complete the signing of Felipe Morais tomorrow.

The 23-year-old has agreed to return to McDiarmid Park, where he spent a successful loan spell in 2007, following stints with Hibs and Inverness over the past two years.

Saints manager Derek McInnes has been keen to add more attacking flair to his side ahead of their return to the Premier League and believes Morais – a former Millwall team-mate – is the ideal man.

The former Portugal Under-21 player spent ten days on trial in Perth and featured in their tour of Northern Ireland last week, playing in matches against Distillery and Glenavon. The deal to bring Morais to Saints has been agreed, but he is back in England sorting out personal issues before returning north to sign.
