SPL Fanzone: Hearts

IT WAS a strange game on Saturday. I didn't feel that Hearts played all that well but we barely needed to get out of first gear to comfortably beat a woeful Aberdeen team.

That said, we were clinical when the opportunities came our way and, in that respect, it was a real step forward from the previous SPL games this season.

Now that John Sutton is off the mark, hopefully he can start to score freely and we can continue our rise up the table. The result and clean sheet were confidence boosters ahead of the Spurs game but you feel that we really need to take some sort of lead to White Hart Lane if we are to have any chance of progressing. It will be very difficult but, given that this is Spurs' first competitive game of the season, we may have a chance if we start quickly. Their players are unlikely to relish the close environment of Tynecastle, so you never know.
