Piece of cake for young David

THE players have chosen their top players of the season and last night we dished out the awards.

Player of the season was Liam Miller, whose early performances in the season were so vital to our good run, while Young Player was David Wotherspoon. I'm sure he got the nod because of the contribution he has made since he made his first-team debut at the start of the season and not the fact that his Mum is responsible for many of the very tasty cakes and buns the players get as an end-of-week treat at training ..
