Snooker: McGillivary and Leslie on cue

BONNYRIGG'S Michael Leslie will play Craig McGillivary of Edinburgh in the semi-final of the Scottish Open snooker championships at the Edinburgh Corn Exchange at 7pm on Monday.

Leslie, who has just returned from Malta after reaching the last 16 of the European under 19 championship, will be looking to continue his winning run at the venue after winning the East of Scotland Junior snooker championship and billiard championships recently.

McGillivary won the Scottish Open two years ago and will be determined to get his name back on the trophy.

The winner will play Bobby Cruikshanks of Perth in the final.
