Skiing: Henderson stays upbeat

LIBERTON alpine skier Paul Henderson conceded his European Youth Olympic Winter Festival debut hadn't gone to plan - but vowed to make amends tomorrow.

The 16-year-old has been finding the going tough recently and this trend continued in Liberic, Czech Republic as he pulled up during his first run of the giant slalom. All is not lost for Henderson with the slalom next up, and he said: "I need to make sure I concentrate more on my outside ski."
