Simon Mensing and David Elebert sign on with Hamilton

HAMILTON Accies have begun planning for next season in the SPL by agreeing new deals to hang on to Simon Mensing and David Elebert beyond the summer.

With his current deal due to expire in the coming weeks, it is understood 27-year-old midfielder Mensing has agreed a deal to remain at New Douglas Park for another two years.

An announcement is also expected on the future of defender Elebert, with a 12-month contract having been signed.

Meanwhile, Reid has confessed the chances of him retaining on-loan trio Mickael Antoine-Curier, James Wesolowski and Brian Easton beyond the summer is out of his hands.

The players are due to return to Dundee, Leicester City and Burnley, respectively, and Reid said:

"They have all done fantastically well for us and they are all players who we would like to hang on to. But ... it is out of our hands at the moment."
