Signing spree as Linlithgow add to squad

Linlithgow ROSE have bolstered their squad with a string of top signings.

Lochee United's prolific scorer Phil Hagen has put pen to paper along with Bo'ness United left back Derek Fleming.

Boss Dave Baikie has also moved to fill the problem right-back slot by capturing Newtongrange player Alan Brown while Brown's Rose team-mate Stuart Roseburgh, a left winger, has also signed.

Linlithgow have also successfully re-negotiated contracts with established squad players Stevie Manson and fans' favourite Gordon Herd. Rose haven't finished yet, however. They are talking this weekend to two central defenders and a goalkeeper, all with senior experience.

Meanwhile, Paul Ronald has emerged as a strong contender to take over as Bo'ness boss following the resignation of Willie Newbigging. Ronald, who was in charge of Queen's Park Under-19s last season and recently played with Stenhousemuir, is keen to take Bathgate defender Willie Wilson to Newtown Park as his assistant.
