Shinty: Bryan Simpson hopes Fort can rally

Fort William forward Bryan Simpson admits he would exchange his recent goals for a return to form by the stuttering Camanachd Cup winners.

Fort face a tough 90 minutes against Inveraray in the Scottish Hydro Premier Division today, hot on the heels of their shock exit from the Macaulay Cup last week to unfancied Lovat.

Peter MacIntyre's men have failed to hit the heights of recent seasons and, despite reaching the MacTavish Cup final, need to improve to make up ground.

Simpson, whose goals have kept them fighting, said: "Personally, it is pleasing to be finding the net but I'd rather not be scoring and walking away with the points every week."

In the top-of-the-table clash, second-placed Kingussie host unbeaten leaders Kyles at the Dell.
