SFA pulls the plug on Scots semi-pro team

THE SFA has pulled the plug on funding for Scotland's semi-professional side to save money.

The move means the end for the team and the annual four nations tournament which features teams from England, Wales and Ireland.

Scotland's side is made up of players from the Highland League and the East of Scotland and South of Scotland Leagues. However, the SFA's board has decided to remove more than 20,000 worth of backing for the outfit.
