SFA coaching pass marks for Hibs U-19s

HIBS Under-19s have achieved their SFA Level 2 Coaching certificates after being put through their paces by Keith Wright and Neil Orr as part of the SPL's award winning Under-19 Community Engagement Initiative.

And Hibs' young players will get the chance to put their new skills to the test after the October school break when they assist with coaching sessions for East Lothian Primary School pupils.

They will take the children's training alongside Active Schools co-ordinators as part of their ongoing player development and Hibs' academy manager, Bill Hendry, said: "These opportunities will enable our players to engage in the community and help them understand the role they can play as suitable role models for football supporters and aspiring players alike.

"The process involved in planning their own coaching sessions will also help them focus on some of the skills required to progress further in the sport."
