Second division round-up: Forfar hang on for victory

Resurgent Dumbarton got their second win in a week as they beat Alloa 3-2 at Recreation Park.

Pat Walker and Jon McShane had given the visitors a two-goal lead but Kevin Motion and Bryan Prunty pulled Alloa level before Ryan McStay won it for Dumbarton.

Airdrie United 1, Peterhead 0

Chris Craig's goal on the half-hour mark was enough for Airdrie to take full points from visitors Peterhead.

As the home side were holding on desperately at the end they had Rhys Devlin sent off, but they still managed to see out injury time for the win.

Stenhousemuir 0, Forfar Ath 1

Forfar hung on with ten men to beat Stenhousemuir 1-0 at Ochilview.

Michael Bolocheweckyj gave the visitors a 14th-minute lead. After Martyn Fotheringham was ordered off on 20 minutes, the home side did most of the pressing but couldn't break through.
