Scottish Youths' Open: Maximillian Rottluff surges ahead at Monifieth
The 17-year-old from Dusseldorf, seven shots off the pace at the start of round two, reeled off six birdies in a five-under 66 to jump to the front with a level-par 142.
Rottluff heads into the closing 36 holes a stroke ahead of Glenbervie's Fraser Moore, who posted a one-under 70 for a 143.

Hide AdMax Walz bolstered the German title assault with a 67 to move into third on 144 while Scottish Boys' Strokeplay champion Jack McDonald had a 74 to share sixth on 146.
Defending champion Angus Cappi (159) and Scottish Boys' championship runner-up Ian Redford (155) missed the cut.
