Scottish trio named in Vagliano Trophy team

THREE Scots - Louise Kenney, Kelsey MacDonald and Pamela Pretswell - have been named in the Great Britain & Ireland women's side to face the Continent of Europe in the Vagliano Trophy at Royal Porthcawl on 24-25 June.

The biennial match is a stepping stone for the Curtis Cup, with all three Scots hoping to be involved in next year's match against the Americans at Nairn.

Joining forces with them in a team being captained by Tegwen Matthews at Royal Porthcawl are Irish trio Danielle McVeigh, Leona Maguire and Stephanie Meadow, English pair Holly Clyburn and Kelly Tidy and sole Welsh representative Amy Boulden.
