Scottish Open to be last Solheim chance

THE Ladies' Scottish Open at Archerfield Links in August will be the last counting event on this side of the Atlantic in the battle for spots in the Solheim Cup at Killeen Castle in Ireland.

European captain Alison Nicholas will announce her team on 29 August following the publication of the weekly Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings. It will comprise the top four players on the LET's Solheim Cup points ranking, the next best four players from the Rolex ranking, with a further four being selected by Nicholas as wild cards.
