Scott return boosts Currie

Former Youth Cup-winning captain Fergus Scott makes a timely return from a year in Australia to turn out at hooker for Currie in tomorrow's annual 15-a-side tournament at Lasswade.

Scott's availability is a welcome boost for Currie, who have lost Alun Walker to Melrose.

Expected to debut for Currie is former Scotland under-17 captain and No 8 Malcolm Peacoc,k who has joined from Watsonians along with centre Grant Somerville although a third ex-Myresider, Jamie Forbes, is unavailable.

The tournament, commencing at midday tomorrow, also features Hamilton, Ardrossan, Forrester, Murrayfield Wanderers, Glenrothes and Watsonians.
