Scots quartet in LGU squad

REFLECTING a recent success in the Women's Home Internationals, four Scots have been named in a squad of 16 by the Ladies Golf Union for next June's Astor Trophy and Vagliano Trophy matches.

Pamela Pretswell, from Bothwell Castle, and Sally Watson (Elie & Earlsferry Ladies) have retained their places in the Great Britain & Ireland set-up. They are joined in the squad by Nairn Dunbar's Kelsey MacDonald and Pitreavie's Louise Kenney. Hannah Barwood (Knowle), Amy Boulden (Maesdu), Gemma Bradbury (Cottrell Park), Hannah Burke (Mid Herts), Holly Clyburn (Woodhall Spa), Tara Davies (Holyhead), Nikki Foster (Pleasington), Leona Maguire (Slieve Russell), Lisa Maguire (Slieve Russell), Danielle McVeigh (Royal Co Down Ladies?), Stephanie Meadow (Royal Portrush) and Kelly Tidy (Royal Birkdale) complete the squad.
