Scots look to on-form Feruz

SCOTLAND Under-17s are hoping the Celtic striker Islam Feruz can score for the third game running in Finland today to reach Sunday's third/fourth play-off in the Nordic Cup.

The Scots need a big win over the Faroe Islands and Feruz is the player in form after netting in the 2-1 defeat by Sweden and in the 1-1 draw with Norway. Born in Somalia, Feruz is the first player to be selected under a new rule which allows British passport holders born outside Scotland to represent the country if they have been educated here for five years.
