Scots given scoring lesson by Belgians

AFTER a thrilling 4-4 draw on Friday, the Belgians abandoned their complacency in the second Test match and gave the Scots a lesson in attacking hockey with a comfortable 5-0 victory.

Eugene Connolly, Scotland's manager, said: "We visibly wilted in the 36 degree heat, we were always under pressure and gave the ball away too easily. We were given a bit of a learning experience by a very focused Belgian outfit."

The Scots found themselves three down by the break, and with few chances, only Iain Scholefield and Cammie Fraser came close, before the Belgians added two more to their tally.
