Scots to face Springboks

Scotland will play South Africa at Murrayfield next November, the Scottish Rugby Union have announced.

The Springboks, beaten last November by Andy Robinson’s side, are scheduled to play on the weekend of November 17/18, 2012 with world champions New Zealand – as revealed by the Evening News last week– facing the Scots in the Capital the weekend before.

Tonga will be the opposition in the third and final Test on the weekend of November 24/25.

The matches will complete a 2012 fixture programme which begins with the RBS 6 Nations opener with England on February 4 and includes a summer tour to Australia, Fiji and Samoa.
