Scots boost for Scottish Open

TWO-TIME major champion Sandy Lyle, World Cup winner Marc Warren and two-time European Tour champion Alastair Forsyth are set to bolster the home challenge for The Barclays Scottish Open at Castle Stuart from 7-10 July.

The illustrious trio have been given invites to the tournament.

Rory McIlroy is not expected to be a late entrant, with the Northern Irishman having indicated he will take a three-week break before the Open at Royal St George's.
