Scotland Women 32 - 5 Sweden Women: Five-try Scotland sink Swedes

Scotland saw off their third pool opponents at the Women's Rugby World Cup in Surrey, to keep their target of fifth to eighth place in sight. Five tries ensured the Scots also secured the bonus point.

They had to wait for the outcome of yesterday's other games to find out that their play-off opponents for Wednesday's fifth place semi final would be Canada - their 37-10 conquerors in the first pool game, who were defeated yesterday by France.

Delighted captain, Lynne Reid, said: "In this game we came out firing. It made a difference but we continued to play our style of rugby - what really made the difference was the execution of final skills. It was a tough match but it's time to regroup and prepare for our next game."
