Scotland Under-18s 3 - 30 Wales Under-18s: Young Scots learn harsh lesson from Welsh U-18s

SCOTLAND had no answer to the realities of top-class rugby yesterday as Wales delivered a powerful performance to secure a comfortable victory at the Greenyards.

Man-of-the-match Matthew Morgan, another product off the Welsh stand-off assembly line, opened the scoring with a penalty goal before long-range kicker and full-back Harley Thompson goaled from the halfway line.

Then, after dominating possession and territory Wales bagged their first try, scored by pacy winger Eli Walker, and converted by Morgan. The fly-half added a penalty before converting a second Welsh try by centre Luke Williams. Scotland were rewarded with a penalty from stand-off Harry Leonard in the second half but Wales finished with a breakaway try from winger Harry Robinson converted by Morgan.
