Scotland 'target' Andy Carroll in court
NEWCASTLE striker Andy Carroll appeared in court yesterday to deny a nightclub assault. The England Under-21 international, who is wanted by Craig Levein for full international honours due to a Scottish bloodline, is accused of assault occasioning actual bodily harm on his alleged victim Michael Cook in the Blu Bambu club on 7 December
He appeared at Newcastle Crown Court and officially entered a not guilty plea.
