Scotland ladies fall at Wellingborough

Scotland were trounced 8.5-0.5 by England South on the final day of the Veteran Ladies Jamboree at Wellingborough Golf Club.

The Scots, having taken 1.5 points out of a possible two from the first two days, were strong challengers to win the trophy once again but it was not their day. They lost the foursomes 3-0 and the singles 5.5-0.5. The big-margin win enabled England South to win the trophy on a countback.
