Schools Hockey: Strathallan too strong for Dollar

Strathallan School, finalists in the recent Scottish Indoor Under-18 Cup, beat Dollar Academy 4-2 in the final of the Midland Knock Out Cup at Kilgraston School.

Strathallan’s Nina Mearns scored the first goal and Ella Coleman added the second and then a third following a breakthrough by captain Rachael Campbell.

The first half ended with a facial injury to Anni Arthur, which unsettled the team going into the second period. However, Campbell played her skipper’s role to perfection by notching the fourth goal before Dollar grabbed two before the end.
