Rodgers dismisses talk of EPL return

Brendan Rodgers says he couldn’t imagine himself being happier anywhere else as the Celtic boss dismissed talk of him being ready to ready to the English Premier League. The Hoops manager cited the managerial merry-go-round south of the border as one of the reasons for his hesitancy to consider going back. (Daily Record)

Rangers stars to blame for sackings

Danny Wilson insists the Rangers players have to take some of the responsibility for the Ibrox club going through two managers in the last 12 months. Both Mark Warburton and replacement Pedro Caixinha have exited Ibrox after failing to have the club consistently challenging at the top of the table. (Scottish Sun)

Shiels taunted over missing eye

Falkirk duo Kevin O’Hara and Joe McKee could face bans after allegedly abusing Dunfermline player Dean Shiels about his missing eye. The Scottish FA yesterday issued the pair with separate notices of complaint citing “excessive misconduct” in the Irn-Bru Cup fixture between the sides on 7 October. While not explicitly stated, sources have confirmed that O’Hara and McKee will be accused of making malicious comments to Shiels. (Various)
