Rugby: 'Warrior' to face the Welsh

After three substitute appearances for Heriot's, back rower Alex Spence will make his first start for Scotland under-20s against Wales under-20s at Stirling tonight.

The former Haddington youngster has timed his comeback from injury well and is highly rated according to coach Peter Wright, who said: "Alex was out for almost a season with quite a bad injury and is now coming back. He is a really physical guy who we call the warrior because he gets up and gets on with it. He just wants to go and go and go. He has a lot of potential."

Other changes compared with the side beaten in France last week see Boroughmuir's Harry Leonard switch from centre to stand off while Glenn Bryce from Heriot's gets his first start at full back.
