There are approximately 300 people living with Motor Neurone Disease in Scotland at any given time and there are no effective treatments. Euan and his father Donald have been staunch Watsonian supporters over the years and the club often helps the charity.

This will be Watsonians’ first outing in three weeks since they lost to Currie in the RBS Edinburgh Regional Cup semi-final.

Head coach Marcus Di Rollo is likely to give a run out to a number of fringe players as the squad get ready for the RBS National League title run-in.

Invitational side the Co-Optimists got the better of Edinburgh Accies at Raeburn Place last weekend and include a number of players from Edinburgh and the surrounding area. The likes of Dan O’Connell and Kian Coertze look set to play against their former club while ex-Boroughmuir man Chris Hill will be in the back-row. Brothers Alex, Nyle and Ryan Godsmark from Edinburgh Accies are listed as is Musselburgh stand-off Danny Owenson.

The match kicks-off at 3pm.
