Scottish referee Mike Adamson appointed to Heineken European Cup final
It’s the highest-profile club role yet for the 36-year-old who was due to run the line in this year’s Guinness Six Nations match between France and Ireland before it was postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Adamson, a former Scotland Sevens international, will assist Nigel Owens who will take charge when Exeter Chiefs and Racing 92 go head-to-head in the Euro final at Ashton Gate in Bristol on Saturday 17 October.
Ireland’s Andrew Brace is the other touch judge.
