Scotstoun gets extra seating for Glasgow’s big finale

Glasgow have increased the capacity of Scotstoun Stadium to just over 9,000 for their game against defending champions, Ospreys on Friday 19 April.

A new temporary west stand, which will provide around 4,200 seats, is being constructed and will stay in place for the Glasgow 7s on 4 and 5 May. Work on the Scotstoun pitch has also started this week, with some areas being re-turfed

More than 4,000 tickets have already been sold for the Ospreys game, the final scheduled home fixture of the season, with Glasgow currently top of the RaboDirect Pro12 and hoping to secure a play-off spot.
