Scotland v Wales on TV: how to watch Six Nations, kick-off time and team news

Scotland can put themselves in a commanding position in the Six Nations with a win over Wales this afternoon at BT Murrayfield.

Gregor Townsend’s men come into the match off the back of a quite historic 11-6 win over England in the Calcutta Cup at Twickenham.

It was the country's first success at the ground over England since 1983.

This could be a monumental year for Scottish Rugby if Townsend’s men keep up their recent Six Nations form at go all the way to claim the trophy, having not won it in the current six-team guise.

The last time Scotland won the championship was back in 1999 when it was the Five Nations.

It would be typical of Scotland to do so without any fans, just as it was when the football team qualified for their first tournament since 1998.

The clash with Wales is one of three home games this year. There is a trip to France at the end of the month before Ireland and Italy come to Edinburgh in March.
