Scotland team and fans create largest rugby photo
More than 8,000 fans sat in the stand behind the team, taking part in the event designed to commemorate both the start of the international season, and sports firm Macron’s new partnership with the Scottish Rugby Union as official kit supplier.
Some of Scotland’s former internationals turned up to take part in the photo, which fans and players can view - and tag themselves in - at scottishrugby.org/teamphoto.

And Duncan Weir added: “I’m looking forward to seeing our largest team photo and spotting all the ex-internationalists and fans. It’s a great initiative to celebrate the launch of the new Scotland kit and I’m glad to be a part of it.”
Chief executive of Macron, Gianluca Pavanello, said he wanted fans to feel like part of the national team, adding: “We want the Scottish rugby fans to be able to wear the blue jersey and stand shoulder-to-shoulder with their heroes and legends of the game.”
