RaboDirect PRO12: Treviso 34-10 Munster

Munster endured a miserable trip to Italy yesterday as they lost 34-10 to Treviso in the RaboDirect PRO12.

It was a thoroughly deserved win for the Italians who were ahead three minutes in when winger Ludovic Nitoglia raced in under the sticks, giving Alberto Di Bernardo a simple conversion.

Filippo Giusti added another try before Ian Keatley found his range with a three-pointer.

Gideon la Grange dashed any revival hopes, though, scoring a try that was converted by Di Bernardo and, when the fly-half tagged a penalty, it gave Treviso a 22-3 half-time lead. A penalty try and Keatley conversion gave the Irish a sniff but Treviso got their bonus point as Fabio Semenzato dotted down on the hour and Toniolatti did the same with two minutes left, Di Bernardo converting one.
