Lawrence Dallaglio signs up for BT rugby team

FORMER England captain Lawrence Dallaglio has been signed up by BT Sport to become its rugby union expert when its channels launch in the summer.

Dallaglio, 40, will be a co-commentator and studio pundit for the broadcaster, which will have up to 69 live matches a season from the Aviva Premiership.

Dallaglio said: “BT has huge ambitions for rugby union and I am delighted to be involved with that from the beginning.”

Wonder if he’ll be as popular with Scottish viewers as the Beeb’s summariser Brian Moore?
