How Scotland players rated in stunning Six Nations win 11-6 over England

Scotland triumphed in their opening Six Nations clash – winning at Twickenham for the first time in 38 years.

Head coach Gregor Townsend picked Cameron Redpath to make his debut for the Scots in the Calcutta Cup clash – played behind closed doors against Eddie Jones’ side – and the debutante's impressive first showing was backed by several impressive performers in the Calcutta Cup winning side.

Duhan van der Merwe scored the visitors’ only try but Finn Russell, Matt Fagerson and captain Stuart Hogg were equally important to the win, which sets Scotland up nicely in the Six Nations section, and Wales are up next.

First though, the players and staff will celebrate making history for the first time in almost four decades.
