A highly regarded prospect, Ireland would be reluctant to lose him.

However, according to a report by The42.ie, Glasgow have made an approach.

A product of the Munster academy, he made his Pro14 debut against Edinburgh last season. He has been given more first-team opportunities during the extended autumn international window and has impressed, helping Munster top Conference B with seven wins from seven games.

Healy is out of contract next summer and negotiations over a new deal have stalled because the Irish Rugby Football Union has suspended all contract talks due to Covid-19.

Glasgow have four stand-offs on their books in Adam Hastings, Pete Horne, Brandon Thomson and Ross Thompson.

A spokesman for the Warriors said: “We don’t comment on speculation.”
