BBC to broadcast Scotland rugby tests from Argentina

SCOTLAND'S two test matches in Argentina will be broadcast live by the BBC, it was announced today.

The deal will allow the matches in Tucuman and Mar Del Plata to be screened live on BBC2 Scotland and on the corporation's website. BBC Radio Scotland will also broadcast the games live.

Scotland last toured Argentina in 2008. Neither test was shown on television on that occasion, forcing Scottish rugby fans to go online for a pay-per-view live stream of the game.

Scotland coach Andy Robinson, who will name his tour party tomorrow, said: "We're delighted to be bringing all the action live for rugby fans back home in Scotland.

"It's a long haul to Argentina and I'm sure the supporters who can't make the trip will welcome the chance to see the team's performances in the summer tests."
