Rugby: Ryan Grant heads for Glasgow Warriors

PROP Ryan Grant is quitting Edinburgh after three years for a move to Glasgow Warriors.

Edinburgh head coach Rob Moffat said: "Due to injury and the very good form of both Allan Jacobsen and Kyle Traynor at loose-head, Ryan has had little opportunity.

"There is a potential for Ryan to be in a better position to play more regular rugby with Glasgow."

Grant will be joined by lock Robert Harley and scrum-half Henry Pyrgos. They have all signed two-year-deals.

Glasgow head coach Sean Lineen said: "The way Ryan plays really suits Glasgow and he'll certainly get game-time here."
