Rugby: Points mean prizes for top dogs Dalkeith
The Midlothian outfit notched a whopping 843 points and conceded only 114 giving them a differential of plus 729.
Co-coach Colin Brown praised the ruthlessness of the side – and a determination to keep opponents out.

Hide AdSaid Brown: "There's an attitude whereby if we take a lead we like to build on it rather than slacken off. Also, the days when conceding a few points would see heads drop are, hopefully, now long gone."
Brown, who occasionally came off the bench to turn out at centre alongside young stand off prospect Paul Clugston, hopes that the team can consolidate.
"We went down the previous season and it is time to stop yo-yoing. "Skipper Mikey Davidson has led from the front but there is always scope to be more vocal and that is one area we are looking to improve."
As well as Clugston and Davidson, the coach also highlighted the contribution of converted winger Graham Duke, saying: "Graham turned out to be a key performer."
